Ben Bugbee is running for Minnesota House District 13A to bring common sense back to St. Paul. As a fourth-generation Minnesotan, small business owner, and St. John's University student, Ben understands the challenges facing rural central Minnesota families, farmers, and small businesses.
District 13A includes Paynesville, Cold Spring, Richmond, Roscoe, Lake Henry, Farming, Eden Valley, Watkins, and surrounding communities in Stearns County, Minnesota. Ben Bugbee has deep roots in this district—his family has operated Bug-Bee Hive Resort on Lake Koronis since 1920.

Ben is the Partner and Head of Guest Services at Bug-Bee Hive Resort, a 35-cottage family hospitality business on Lake Koronis in Paynesville. He also owns Water Ready Rentals, a watercraft rental company serving Lake Koronis and central Minnesota, and Ben Bugbee Properties LLC, a 75-site RV campground development.
Ben serves on the Board of Trustees at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, and previously served as President of the Saint John's University Senate. He is Chairman of the Minnesota Association of Private College Students and President of the SJU+CSB College Republicans.
